Yes. Summers too hot despite being in altitude. Lack of social life as there is nothing: no good restaurants, no nice little cafes, no dancing classes, e tc.. Lack of services like professional trade men, cleaners, gardeners. You find some but their service is very mediocre or dishonest. People are rather uneducated, rough, and kind of uncouth. No sophistication at all. No cultured well traveled people. If you are used to West or East Coasts, you are in for a n unpleasant culture shock.
