The last registrations for Syllabus 4.5 will be taking place at the end of August. The differences are as follows.

Module 4.5

Module 1 - Basic Concepts of It

Module 2 - Using Computer and Managing Files

Module 3 - Word Processing

Module 4 - Spreadsheet

Module 5 - Databases

Module 6 - Presentation

Module 7 - Info & Comms

Module 8 - Unit E

The changes were as follows.

Syllabus 5

Module 1 - New module - Security for IT users

Module 2 - IT User Fundamentals is Syllabus 4.5 Module 1 and some of Module 2

Module 3, 4 & 6 are the same, Module 5 Databases / Access is still available but only as a stand alone module.

Module 7 - Has been updated to Using email and the internet

Module 8 - New module - Improving productivity using IT (using word OR Excel OR Powerpoint).
