Gravity as explained by Einstein is related to an objects mass. All objects are attracted to each other. An object in space makes a well in the fabric like the way a ball sits on water. Around it is its displacement well determined by its' mass. The larger the mass the deeper the well. A black hole (Swartzchild Singularity) makes a very deep inescapable hole. Magnetic attraction and repulsion is a measurable field effect. It can be produced in electromagnets, by magnetizing certain metals and found naturally. It does not have the same effect as gravity. It has the ability to attract and repulse. Gravity only attracts and it is very difficult to measure. Gravity can be simulated by centripetal motion. Like going into a hard turn. Magnetism seems to have little or no effect on nonmetallic objects. Very little effect even on a lot of metals. Some more than others. Gravity attracts all things by their mass, not their makeup. As demonstrated on the moon a Bowling ball and a feather fall at the same rate seeking the center of the moon.

force of gravity is d gravitational force of earth but gravitational force is force of attraction for any heavenly body

What universal force is the weakest electric gravitational or magnetic?

gravitational force.

At what height in kilometers above the surface of the Earth is there a 4 percent difference between the approximate gravitational force mg and the actual gravitational force on an object?

At what height in kilometers above the surface of the Earth is there a 4% difference between the approximate gravitational force mg and the actual gravitational force on an object

What is difference between gravitational force and attraction force?

well its quite easy

What is the force of attaraction between two objects in a vacuum?

The force will always be gravitational. In addition we might have magnetic force, and electric force.?Regards.

What is difference between gravity and gravitational force?

There is no difference. Gravity and gravitational force are simply two different ways of describing force by which bodies pull on each other relative to their size (gravity!).

Is the magnetic force is more powerful then gravitational force?

u r a but

Difference between electric forces and gravitational forces is that electrical forces include?

In case of electric force there are both repulsive and attractive. But in case of gravitational force, only attractive force. Electrical force between electric charges. Gravitational force between masses. In electric force we use a constant known as permittivity of the medium. But in gravitational force a universal constant known as Gravitational constant is used. Electrical force is very much greater than gravitational force.

What is the difference between magnetic force and electric force?

The force is just one aspect of magnetism. For example, there is a magnetic field all around a magnet. Of course they are related, but "magnetism" is a wider term for the entire phenomenon - it may relate to the force, to the magnetic field, or to a few other things.

What difference does distance make on the magnetic force of attraction between two magnets?

Magnetic force of attraction is invesely proportional to distance between two poles.

What is the difference between gravitational potential energy and gravitational force?

Gravitational Force, F, is the derivative of Gravitational Energy E; F=XE = (d/dr + Del)E. Energy has units of Joules and Force has units of Newtons.

How are magnetic and gravitational force alike?

They're alike by both pulling down on something. The only difference is the a certain material is needed for a magnet to use it's magnetic force. Gravity doesn't need anything.
