Easy, Catholic clergy are bishops, priests, and deacons who have been ordained into the sacrificial priesthood of Christ through the Apostolic succession, and thus carry Our Blessed Lord's mandate to minister to His people. Anglican clergy are protestants who lost apostolic succession and do not have a proper sacrificial priesthood. Please see Apostolicae Curae issued by Pope Leo XIII in 1896 on the validly of Anglican Orders:

Is the Roman Catholic an Anglican church?

First allow me to point out: It's just Catholic, not Roman Catholic. Roman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is never used by the official Catholic Church. Second, the Catholic Church has been around since 33 A.D., and was formed by Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ on St. Peter (see Matthew 16:17-19). The Anglican Church was formed out of nothing by Henry VIII in the 16th century when he wanted a divorce from his wife and the Church would not grant him one, so he took his entire nation out of the Church and formed the Anglican Church for the sole purpose of giving him a divorce, and making him head of the Church. So, no, the Catholic Church is most definitely not an Anglican Church.

Does Apostolicae Curae also invalidate Roman Catholic Orders?

Yes, Apostolicae Curae, issued by Pope Leo XIII in 1896, declared Anglican orders invalid. This does not impact the validity of Roman Catholic orders. The Catholic Church recognizes the validity of the sacrament of Holy Orders within its own tradition.

Are Roman Catholic and Anglican the same thing?

No, the Roman Catholic Church and the Anglican Church as separate religions, although they are very similar theologically. These two groups each have their own hierarchy and are run independently of each other..Catholic AnswerNo. First of all, Roman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is rarely used by the Catholic Church. Secondly, the Catholic Church was established by Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, on the apostle Peter in order to save all people and lead them into all truth. The Anglican Church was established 1500 years later by King Henry the Eighth in England because he could not abide by the moral teachings of Our Blessed Lord given by His Church. It is a branch of the protestant heresy.

Can a Church of Ireland receive communion in the Roman Catholic church?

I take it that you mean if a member of the Church of Ireland receive Communion in the Catholic Church. Well the Church of Ireland is an branch of the Anglican Church and thereby not in union with the Bishop of Rome, so no, a member of the Church of Ireland cannot receive Communion in the Catholic Church. To receive Communion in the Catholic Church, you are to be Catholic united to Rome and accept the doctrine of transubstantiation in the Eucharist. Now if you are a member of the Catholic Church in the country of Ireland, yes you are allowed to because you are Catholic in that sense, but again, an Anglican member of the Church of Ireland cannot receive Communion unless they convert to Catholicism and accept all teachings taught by the Magisterium concerning the Eucharist..Catholic Answer. It's just Catholic, not Roman Catholic. Roman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is never used by the official Catholic Church. Short answer: No, the Church of Ireland is a protestant Church, and is most definitely not in "Communion" with the Catholic Church. The only way that an Anglican (member of the Church of Ireland) may receive Holy Communion in a Catholic Church is to convert. Pope Benedict issued a Motu Proprio several years ago, which allows Anglicans to convert to the Catholic Church and retain their own usages in the Latin Rite, it is call the Anglican usage, see link below.

What s the difference between Latin and Roman catholics?

There is no difference between the two as Roman Catholicism is the only form of Catholicism..Catholic AnswerAs noted above, there is no difference. However, Roman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is never used by the Catholic Church. .Roman Catholic AnswerThere really isn't a difference. The "Roman" actually started out as a slur against the Church. It comes from the fact that the head of the Catholic Church on earth, the Holy Father, resides in Rome. The word "Catholic" is, nowadays, used by other groups to mean various things, so some of us use "Roman Catholic" to differentiate from them.
