do 1998 ford f450 have day time running lights
The 1992 Ford Ranger did not come equipped with daytime running lights.
Directly to the right of the battery. You should note that if you are in Canada, the Daytime Running Lights are MANDATORY on all vehicles sold in Canada since 1990, and disabling them may cost you a LOT of money in fines, as disabling them is against Federal law and the Highway Traffic Acts of most Provinces.
Interesting question - my 2001 SEL does not have daytime running lights, and I'm not aware that Ford offered them.
There is a DRL relay in the box under the Hood. Either take out the bulbs or remove the fuse for the DRL's. I don't know if it's standard on all of them, or if it's just available in Canada. But I am living in Calgary, and own a 1990 Ford F150. And mine has daytime running lights.
I take it you have daytime running lights , if so by engaging the emergency / parking brake the daytime running lights should go off
Fuse #9
drl module location on a ford ranger 1995
Unplug daytime running light module. It is located on driver side just under the front of the truck.
The 98 did not come with daytime running lights. It did in Canada and the module is under the left front fender beside the light.
