rail injection systems usually do not have many problems, assuming you get a new one and not one out of the junkyard. A disadvantage might be that, for whatever reason, it would clog up, it is a !@#$% to take off. If you get a new rail, change your fuel filter FIRST, then turn the key on and off to represurize the line, then install the new one.
