Having blue eyes have nothing to do with the color u see but blue eyed people may not see as sharply as dark eyed people do, the darker the eyes, the more light is absorbed as light waves pass through the eye, and the less light is available to reflect within the eye. this means that blue eyed people have more space for reflection of light in their eye, and dark eyes don't, so people with dark eyes can handle bright light contrast than us blue eyed people can, but we do have Sharper vision then Dark eyed people do

Our pupils have a substance in them called Melanin which gives pigmentation to our eyes and gives us our sight. When people have dark eyes they have more Melanin in them, and blue eyes have less Melanin so you cant see as well. It's very simple if you put more paint in water it'll be darker.
