Unfortunately there isn't any clown fish (Nemo) look alike that exists. The closest you may get with something stripey that is fresh water (but they are black & orange) would be a clown loach, but they need very large tanks (at least a 75 gallon) as they grow pretty big, and they are a more advanced hobbyist fish.

Simple answer is " No they do not need salt." Clown Loach (Botia macrocantha) are however a large fish and like to be kept in groups (schools) so they need a large aquarium.

A- i would go there marine fish are SOFT!!! you wont need to change the water and everything. you cant get a fish called 'clown loaches' which arent tropical and they don't eat snails too!! No Clown fish are good with guppies although it is possible to keep clown loaches (Botia macrocantha) and Guppies together for a while. Don't forget though that Botias are shoaling fish so they should be kept in groups. They also grow to around 14inches long so need a large tank.

They are both Tropical and Marine. They need to be kept at 70F and they also need sea water.
