Dalmatian mollies are just cross bred fish. Anything can happen to their colouring because their full parentage is not known.
Why are my dalmatian mollies and black mollies vicious?
They may be too crowded. I have heard that mollies need 2-3 gallons per fish. My daughter's male dalmatian Mollie keeps nipping at the female and has killed 2 so far.

No. Your tank is ridiculously overstocked. Your algae eater will eventually grow to the size of 12 inches long. Your mollies need more space. And your shrimp will soon die because of the polluted water from the overcrowded conditions.

Mollies (Poecilia sp.) originally came from brackish (Estuarine) waters and provided it is done very slowly they can eventully live in a marine environment, but they have been kept and bred in fresh water for so long now that salt is not a neccessity as it once was 60 years ago.
