doubt it but I've seen a drop tuning system on fixed bridge Ibanez guitars, when I play the low E string turn it half way or a quarter of the way depending on how thick your strings are and see if it works. I've never owned a D tuna and never will because of this.

I've played 50+ guitars extensively and recommend Agile , LTD , BC Rich , Schecter , Jackson you can buy AMAZING guitars used for under 300$. Play all the notes on the guitars neck and make sure that they all work properly , look for anything missing , but besides that good luck.
