It's difficult to survey, tabulate, and summarize what all "Jews believe".
Judaism teaches that the first Biblical commandment is "be fruitful and multiply",
which is further understood in the light of the verse previous to it in Genesis where
Gcd reflects that it is "not good that the man shall live alone". A Jew who is motivated
to follow the teachings of Judaism considers marriage not only permitted, but somewhat
of a positive obligation.
