They live in North America from east pf the Great Plains to north Mexico. It also goes through central Quebec to Nova Scotia in Canada,
so i would assume that they would live or migrate through Chicago.

Luna moths are not predators. Caterpillars eat plants, and adults do not have mouths at all, so they can't eat!
