Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that God has a plan for each of us. Rather than use the word pre-destination, they use the term 'fore-ordained'. The belief is that our spirits existed with God before we came to earth as mortals. Here in the 'pre-earth' life we were fore-ordained (chosen, called, or assigned) to do specific things in this life, such as be a prophet, a mother, or a missionary. God makes it possible for us to learn and fulfill these missions in life.

Mormons do not believe that certain people were predestined to receive salvation. They believe that God, as our Father and Creator, loves each of us and desires to give salvation to all. Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ and follows His commandments will receive salvation.

There are a couple different types of the Predestination doctrine, but in general it is that God has determined that certain people will be saved.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) do not adhere to that doctrine. When Mormons speak of 'predestination' or 'being predestined', they are referring to the belief that individuals were prepared before coming to earth to fulfill certain roles, and that their life events will also prepare them to fulfill these roles. These roles could be large, such as being a prophet or influential world leader, or smaller such as being a parent or teacher. However, while God has a plan and a role for each of us, we have the agency (ability to choose) whether we will fulfill this role or not. Mormons believe that by following God's commandments and seeking His will in your life, you can fulfill the plan and role that He has prepared for you.

Mormons do not believe that God has chosen certain people to be saved and certain people not to be saved. They believe that God loves all mankind and wants to provide salvation to all of them, but that salvation can only be granted through acceptance of Jesus Christ and obedience to God's will. Those who accept Jesus and follow His commandments will be saved and those who deny Jesus will not be saved.

yes they did

Did Henry VIII believe in predestination?

This is a vexed question. John Wesley did believe in predestination, just a difference kind of predestination than his Calvinist brethren. Wesley was Arminian in his doctrine. He had disagreements over the issue with his friend and fellow worker George Whitfield, who believed in the Calvinist form of predestination. Hard predestination (Whitfield's kind) understands God to be ultimately in charge of deciding whether each individual is "saved" or not. Soft predestination (Wesley's kind) recognizes that God knows who will be saved and who will not, but God does not decide that for each individual.

Do Mormons believe they will be gods and Does Brooke White believe she will be one of the God-wives?

I don't know who Brooke White is but Mormons believe they can become gods, IF they do certain ceremonies in the temple and keep the vows they make there. Not all Mormons believe they will become gods, because not all Mormons go to the temple and do the ceremonies they believe are required. They do not believe they will become gods but they do believe they will be able to become more like Jesus and god.

What are the bad things that they say about Mormons?

Many things that people say against Mormons simply come from someone who is uninformed or has a different opinion. This does not mean that it is bad, but it is often offensive. Those who are uninformed or misinformed often say: -Mormons are polygamist (this practice was banned by the church over 120 years ago in 1890) -Mormons dont believe in the Bible (Mormons consider the King James Version of the Bible as sacred scripture and are encouraged to study it daily) -Mormons don't believe in Jesus (Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is their Savior, just like all Christians) -Mormons are cultish (Mormons live and dress and act just like most anyone else in society. They do not live on compunds, etc.) -Mormons worship Joseph Smith (Mormons believe Joseph Smith was a prophet, just like Moses or Abraham, not a god to be worshipped) -Mormons kidnap, brainwash, coerce, etc (Mormons wish everyone to make their own decisions, and define their standards by Scripture) Those who have different opinions and say things that are offensive to Mormons often say: -Mormons are not Christian (Mormons are not traditional Protestant Christians, but they do still believe in the Bible and salvation through Jesus Christ.) -Mormons are lying (Mormons honestly believe they are telling the truth) -Mormonism is a pyramid scheme (Mormons believe in paying a Tithe and in missions work to gain converts, but believe this is Biblically based and do not seek converts for monetary gain) -Mormons are unbiblical (Mormons believe that they are following the Bible very strictly, but the Bible can be interpreted differently by different people) -Mormonism is false (this is obviously just an opinion, but one that is often offensive to those who honestly believe)

Do Mormons get their own planet if they have 9 or more kids?

Mormons do not believe that quantity of kids has anything to do with salvation. Mormons have more than the average amount of kids because they believe in family. Mormons believe salvation consists of receving all that God has. The idea of Mormons receiving their own planet is a bit of saracsm that is pushed by those who do not like the church.
