I would guess more than 90% of Christians believe in the 10 commandments of the Old Testament, because they were conditioned to believe and follow The Bible unquestioned. But in closer inspection of the verses, I came to the conclusion that the 10 Commandments is exclusive only to the Hebrew Slaves in Egypt. Read the first Commandment in full. It was given to the Hebrew slaves only and not to any other tribe. It also say not to covet thy neighbor's (member of own tribe) house, ass (donkey), wife, slaves, etc. But it's OK to take other tribesmen's possession their wives, daughters, sons and even their life.
If you really want to study the 10 Commandments, Read the book "The Ten Commandments" by Joseph Lewis. The space alloted in this answer page is too limited to answer the questioner's inquiry.
BTW, I'm also a Christian and I follow Jesus' commandments as written in MT 19:17-19, MK 10:19 & LK 18:20, not the 10 Commandments of the Hebrews.
Muslims follow all of the principles set out in the Ten Commandments, but they do not list them in that way because they usually do not use the Bible as a text. Instead they use quotations from the Qu'ran. But all of the principles of the Ten Commandments are part of Islam.

Also, in modern times, people don't really follow the Ten Commandments to its fullest. There are those extremely religious people though...who might follow it.
Answer 2
Christianity recognizes the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament as binding and authoritative although each major Christian denomination has a different way of counting the various commandments and these all differ from the Jewish count. (i.e. Commandment 1 might be Commandment 2, etc.)
As for Islam, the Qur'an does not recognize the Ten Commandments as a set of ten special rules that are all grouped together, but all of the principles of the Ten Commandments are present in the Qur'an except for #3 (God's name in vain) and #4 (Sabbath day).
Yes except one. Sabbath is not a day of rest. Muslims believe that God doesn't rest because he doesn't get tired.

The commandments were given to Moses and actually there were 600 commandments before the Catholic Church made it 10 in the Middle Ages. These commandments were given to the Jewish people.
God gave the ten commandments to the Jewish people as law. The people became aware just how much they were were personally sinning. When people see their own faults they reach out to God and repent and ask for forgiveness.
There are two slightly different versions of the 10 commandments, one in Exodus, one in Deuteronomy. Jews generally refer to the 10 statements, since some of the statements are not in the form of commandments. The 2 versions of the 10 commandments differ in whether we are commanded to keep the Sabbath or to Remember it. Jews believe that the 10 commandments are only binding on Jews, while the 7 Noachide commandments are binding on all mankind.
No. Tradition holds that Jewish history began with Abraham, about 500 years before the giving of the 10 commandments.
It's easy to find a translation of the Jewish Ten Commandments. See the 10 Commandments in Exodus and Deuteronomy, in the language of your choice, in any edition of the "old testament".
The Ten Commandments were only 10 of the moral laws of the Hebrews. Jewish tradition holds that there are 613 commandments in total.
