I read that the Duggars use NOTHING, but they may avoid sex during certain times regarding their personal and religious health.
I personally think they SHOULD use the rhythm method!
The birth control pill is meant to prevent ovulation. If ovulation occurs, the timing will be unpredictable, making the rhythm method useless.
It doesn't work... there's an old joke about what you call people who practice the rhythm method, "Mommy and daddy". But if you insist: Find out when the woman ovulates, then only be intimate when you're more than a week away, either before or afterward. But it's almost guaranteed to make you parents. I heard that joke about withdrawal. The rhythm method does work but you have to be very controlled.
They are Independent Baptists. They watch TV but not a lot, and they do have a computer. I know this because they have said so themselves. I do not know for sure if they are Quiverfull, the reason, (according to them) that they want as many children as God allows is because they were using birth control in the beginning and miscarried their first child. They also follow the teachings of Bill Gothard, which is where they get the beliefs of women wearing dresses and having long hair and no dancing. Josh and Anna were married in a Baptist church. The Duggars also are associated with a Conservative Christian movement called Quiverfull. Quiverfull families try to have as many children as possible and do not use any birth control. They just have as many children as "God intends them to have."

No, they usually resort to a piece of torn bedcloth for their menstrual needs.
It's not a procedure, it's a calendar and temperature check thing. Many married couples whose religious beliefs don't allow birth control use this method to avoid sex during certain times of the month.
The use of a beat or a rhythm to remember something is
The children clapped enthusiastically to the rhythm of the happy tune.
Repetition is a great way to create rhythm in an artwork.
As a young woman with a baby you need to educate yourself more regarding sex. A woman that has had a baby has a higher risk of becoming pregnant again and since you are not using protection; you are not on the birth control pill or patch and do not practice the rhythm method (pulling out which is not safe at all to stop a pregnancy) and your boyfriend does not use a condom (also not 100% effective against pregnancy) you are running a very high risk of getting pregnant again. Please speak to your doctor and discuss what is a good method of avoiding pregnancy.
Good question! Orthodox Jews avoid sex during the menstrual period, because it's "ritual cleansing" of the body, but it's a possibility they might.
· No Prescription Required The rhythm method doesn't require a prescription because couples practice it at home, so it's a method couples always have access to. · All Natural Many couples like the rhythm method because it's an all natural form of birth control and doesn't require taking synthetic hormones or inserting medical devices for pregnancy prevention. · Equal Participation Many couples see the rhythm method as a form of birth control whose responsibility is equally divided between both partners.
