Many runners or people who exercise and listen to music actually prefer wireless headsets. They are very affordable and easy to use. http://www.hellodirect.com/hellodirect/Shop?PCR=1:1:5:15
To hook up an XBox 360, one would need the XBox 360 Wireless Network Adapter. This specific adapter is easy to install, is compatible with Windows Vista Media Center, is compatible with 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz wireless networks and allows wireless play on Xbox LIVE.
it can be pluged into a router of you can use a wireless box for easy use
no only the xbox ones work unfortunatley (since its easy to find cheaper adaters for computers) i tried the one i use for my computer and it didnt work so went and forked out for the xbox one. However, you can use the wireless adapter from the original Xbox with the Xbox 360, even though it's not officially supported.
Yes. It uses bluetooth to connect to the xbox. Most of the time if is very easy to sync your headset to your xbox. This adds alot of value and fun while playing games online.
you take the ethernet cord out of the back of your xbox 360. Or if you have the wireless network addapter you just unplug it from the back of the xbox 360. Edit: You just hit the "XBox Button" In the center of the console and at the bottom should say "Xbox Dashboard" Go there and go to your "My account" Section and click and there it should say "log out".
Hooking an Xbox up to the internet requires just a few connections. The most important thing is that you have an internet connection. Broadband is recommended for speed and reliability. A router to connect the modem and the xbox is also needed. A wireless router makes the connection easy and mess free. You will need to by a wireless network adapter if you want to hook to the net in this manner.
One may purchase pilot headsets from a number of different sites including reputable Amazon, eBay and aopa dot org. The prices are affordable and easy.
If you want wireless, the Xbox 360 wireless adapter is the only way you can go wireless unless you buy a wireless bridge which is not easy at all to setup. You can still use your ethernet jack to connect to the Internet if your Xbox is in a different room from your router. This video will explain the technology you can use to do this: http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/en_US/images/abn/2009/com/pcon/netgear_pwrline/netgear_powerline.swf http://www.bestbuy.com/site/NETGEAR+-+Powerline+Ethernet+Adapter+Kit/8919708.p?id=1214004487426&skuId=8919708&st=powerline
If you take care of it, it should last you. Make sure it is ventilated properly and that its is on its side not vertical and don't move it whil'st it is on, m'kay
Setting up Xbox live is really easy. The frst and most important step is attaching your xbox 360 to the internet. You can do this by either wireless or a cable called a ethernet cable. My personally opinion is to use ethernet because you will get a better connection rate. To test your network connection, just go to where you can change networks stuff, this option is called network settings. You will see a option called test Xbox live.... select that and let it scan. If all ok, proceed! If still no connection, make sure you have done everything probably like type in your wireless password code (if using wireless) etc. Now, when you have done that just select the option where it says "join xbox live". Go through the set up which is really easy, create a gamertag of your choice and done! However, you will need to buy a Xbox live gold membership (if not given one in your console box).
Wireless adapters in genral are for computers. The Xbox is designed to only work with the official Xbox wireless adapter to boost revenue to Microsoft. I personally suggest staying away from this adapter because it can only be used for the Xbox. Powerline is an alternative to wireless, and powerline can be used with many different things. The best way to connect to the Internet is a network cable directly to the router, but when that is not an option, powerline and wireless are the 2 most popular options. There are other options such as MoCa and HomePNA.
