Setting up Xbox live is really easy.

The frst and most important step is attaching your Xbox 360 to the internet. You can do this by either wireless or a cable called a ethernet cable. My personally opinion is to use ethernet because you will get a better connection rate.

To test your network connection, just go to where you can change networks stuff, this option is called network settings. You will see a option called test Xbox live.... select that and let it scan. If all ok, proceed! If still no connection, make sure you have done everything probably like type in your wireless password code (if using wireless) etc.

Now, when you have done that just select the option where it says "join xbox live". Go through the set up which is really easy, create a gamertag of your choice and done!

However, you will need to buy a Xbox live gold membership (if not given one in your console box).
