it all depends on how you introduce them because i have
two gerbil and one is an adult and one is still young and they get along very well
If a Gerbil has lived alone for a long time however it can be very difficult to introduce a new friend to it. I have a 2 year old female that refuses to accept a companion however the younger one I bought to pair with her happily accepted a baby Gerbil as a friend.
Gerbils are NOT agressive! I have two gerbils of my own and they are the friendliest animals I have ever met. Also I heard that gerbils are the friendliest rodent and they do make a great first pet. The only time gerbils will bite is if you dont handle him/her enough, or if you are doing something that they dont like. For example, if you hold them for too long and he/her is trying to get out of your hand like crazy and you wont let the gerbil out it may bite. But out of everything gerbils are NOT agressive! Not at all as long as you are gentle. I have 7 adults and 6 babies at the moment and none are aggressive with me.
They need more attention!
gerbils bites don't really hurt unless your younger you know around nine or ten Gerbils bites doesnt go by age at all, i was cleaning my gerbil out the other day, as i was getting him out he was latched on my finger and it hurt like mad & it was pouring with blood so Gerbils bites DO hurt ALOT but they can nibble you, but that doesnt really hurt at all
yes they are like adults but younger but still get sick by the same things we do
If you like Gerbils than yes if you don't than no i love them
Yes, gerbils can get a wide variety of diseases like cancer.
Gerbils CAN'T eat cheese they get sick.
I think that an older male and a much younger male gerbil are the nicest.. Female gerbils from my experience can be really mean and nasty to each other and you. Boys in general =much better.
yes because they are younger than adults
There are no specific names for gerbils you can call her whatever you like
No because when we got our gerbils my brother yelled and they started running around like crazy
For the most part, yes, they do. Gerbils, like other animals, have individual personalities, however. Some gerbils will not get along with other gerbils, regardless of gender.
