Xbox's will not scratch or 'ring' discs unless tilted when a disc is inserted.
Still 2.0 even for the new slims
One is encoded for the xbox 360 only. So people dont copy the xbox 360 disks. but you can make it so it can read the disks and work.
dvd's and any xbox game disks
The xbox 360 can badly damage disks if you tilt the xbox from horizontal to vertical (or vice versa) making them to the point of unreadable
Yes you can do that. They manufacture hard disks for xbox.
You can purchase a scratch removal kit made especially for CD's, DVD's and games for the Xbox 360.
no it will cause red ring
I'm afraid it is not, xbox 360 games have security on their disks, even if you go past that there is no emulator and even if there were, the cost of a computer that could run xbox 360 games would be FAR greater then the cost of and xbox 360 it self.
Yes, they are among the few backward compatible games for the 360.
i would say that xbox 360 is a little bit worse because the new xbox 360 slim is lighter, better looking and will not scratch your cds. because it does not have a tray. and the new xbox 360 slim will last longer because of the firmware it will be rare to get rrod and the xbox 360 slim is kinect ready
There is no way to play a xbox 360 game on the PS3. Both consoles take different disks and therefore are not compatible with each other.
If a 360 scratches your disks then there is usually a problem with your disk drive. Scratches usually occur when the drive isn't able to get a good grip on the disk so the disk wobbles causing it to hit the tray and scratch it. Some minor scratches are common due to ordinary use because, after all, nothing's perfect.
