Yes, because all living things need water. However, desert animals are specially adapted to the dry conditions. Most of them do not need to drink water, but obtain sufficient moisture from the foods they eat. Some desert animals burrow down deep to find water, and these burrows also protect them from the heat of the desert sun. Others are specifically "shaped" to collect water. For example, the body of the thorny devil in Australia is completely covered in sharp spikes which actually collect the moisture that condenses in the early morning (or the occasional rains) and channel it directly down towards its mouth.

Yes. All living creatures do.

They can survive on less, store it somehow, or get enough from vegetation, but they need water. That or they live off an oasis/spring/river/wadis/whatever.

Yes, because all living things need water in one form or another. These creatures have special adaptations that allow them to do one of the following: * live on just the moisture obtained from their food * have a body shape that makes the most efficient collection and use of any moisture that forms through condensation * special adaptations such as burrowing deep to find water, or hibernating during the dry season and only feeding and reproducing when the rains come
