Ants are like the guardians of Your house. If you an Ant hill near your house and your house is full of spiders/bugs.and yo uleave for 2 days....Your house will be clear of those bugs and spiders.
The Answer is Yes, there are some ants that can kill. There have been multiple cases of fire ants in the United States of America and Canada killing civilans. Usually small children or elderly men and woman, due to the fact that they can't or have a hard time getting the ants off them. The reason they are called Fire ants is because their sting (not bite) releases a venom that burns. Enough of it can kill you.
But the major threat on humans by ants are bullet ants. Its sting is the most painful sting in the world, yes the MOST painful, on any category, including, Animals, Fish, Jelly fish, insects ETC. It sting simulates the worst pain the human body is capable of feeling. There have been many cases of bullet ants killing human beings in native tribes. Bullet ants don't live in many places, but the reason they have killed humans is because of tribes that require bullet ants to sting you in order for you to become a man. Back to the topic
There are many ants that can kill you, there are even reported cases of ants eating wounded people.
EDIT: If a bullet ant stings you, you will feel AGONIZING pain for 24 hours and lesser (but still excruciating) pain for the seven days.
Yes, if there was enough of them. It depends on what ant your talking about. If you invaded by thousands of fire ants you would be in trouble! Especially if you are hypersensive to ants or you are a small child. Basically, ants can kill humans, but it depends on the human and it depends on the ant.
Most types can't but the bull ant of South America can.
It really depends on the ants that are indigenous to your area
They have every right to live on the Earth as we do.
