In the aquarium were water, weed, sunfish, snails, and a neon fish.
yes
No. Only aquatic snails can live in water. It is not adviseable to add any snails to an aquarium IMO anyway.
Yes it is possible because I have seen a number of snails licking the water from the leaves of my potted plants a number of times.
I am not a water snail expert, but first (obviously) I know that they are snails that live in water. These snails will dry up when they are outside of water, and when they escape, this usually means the water they are inside is dirty, so check your water quality if you are a water snail keeper. I sometimes call these water snails aquarium snails, the ones that are sold in petstores. There are Mystery snails and Apple snails in this column.
oh yes, I bought four snails for my aquarium and ended up with hundreds. the babies are really cute but they multiply really fast.
they can't
You don't need to use anything other than lettuce. Float a lettuce leaf in the aquarium overnight, and in the morning it will be covered with snails. Then, take it out and throw it away. Do this until there are no more snails.
No. when you drop salt on the ground and slugs or snails somehow pass over it, it kills them by churning up their insides!
gravel rocks sand peebles water
Some snails have very interestingly designed shells and can add color and uniqueness to an aquarium. Also, snails are an algae consumer and help clean the aquarium. Some fish also require snails as part of their diet, such as some puffers.
