Atheists do not harass Christians unless your definition of "harass" is that they disagree with Christians and any other theists. Sometimes atheists get tired that Christians impose their religion on everyone - swearing on a Bible to tell the truth, praying before public meetings, praying for sick relatives, baptizing babies without the parents consent, being nice to religious leaders just because they are religious leaders - and speak up about this imposition of a superstition on their lives. This is hardly harassing.

OpinionChristians are in the business of converting the world to their way of thinking. They are under the mistaken notion that all good moral behavior comes from religious laws and beliefs and that theirs are the best. Atheists are anathema in this process since they choose to not adhere to any religious beliefs. It should be noted that not all Christians harass atheists but many sects preach against atheism from their pulpits and often paint a picture of atheists that doesn't mirror reality.

Why do christians think atheists are bad people?
Not all do, obviously. Some christians who take their moral guidance (nearly) entirely from their belief in god and the bible doubt whether it is possible to even be moral without that guidance. They sometimes think of atheists as capable of almost any action/behavior because of the atheists' lack of divine guidance.
