The electric charge flows in a constant direction, distinguishing it from alternating current or AC.

∙ 10y agoBatteries "create" or supply electricity. This is done by a chemical reaction. However, this reaction is not completely efficient, so from that stand point, batteries use up some of the stored chemical energy due to internal resistance of that battery.
