== == I dont no a lot about this subject . but i do know that some birds do. but it depends on the type of bird :D GEORGE
Yes. Some birds regurgitate to feed their young. And yes, I imagine geese and ducks could vomit if something was stuck in their throat. I have never seen one do this. I have, however, seen a Canada Goose sneeze.
Yes, birds puke. When they do, they sometimes kind of look like they're gagging, then they shake their heads and spray the vomit all over the place (ie: away from them...though it sometimes ends up all over their feathers and makes them look sticky). This is not to be mistaken with regurgitation, which some birds do as part of a courtship ritual. In that situation, they'll just spit up right on you. ...and on other stuff. If you're bird is puking, you can buy an antibiotic called MarvelAid at the pet store and replace its water with it. That will kill any bacterial infection it might have. If its stomach is just upset from something it ate, it should pass on its own. If the bird keeps puking for hours though and doesn't seem to improve with the meds, I'd look for an avian vet.
Occasionally, they will spit out a wet hairball which accumulates in their tummy from constantly grooming themselves.
If they throw up a spoonful of saliva, it's because they are having difficulty getting the hairball to pass out.
Yes. birds may throw up as much as they can .They also can have diaria i think. really i dont know if they can have diaria.
As far as I know, they only throw up in order to feed their young food from their crop.
They can spit there food up, but when they spit it back up they usually eat it.
if that is what you mean as throwing up
Birds do puke. It is something they do if they are stimulated in some way. If a bird throws up then it means that the bird is comfortable with you.
