Why is it important for the boys to be circumcised?
It is not important for boys to get circumcised. The glans penis in all mammals is an internal organ and does not perform properly if it remains constantly exposed. The foreskin is there to protect it from mechanical friction and from dirt and bacteria. The foreskin is also a major erogenous area with more then 20.000 nerves to improve sexual pleasure. Children that are circumcised run the risk of major damage being done to the glans penis a higher rate of infection of the penis and urethra and the gradual deadening of sensation to the glans.
