My husband has for years had trouble staying awake after he eats. I was wishing someone has an answer to what he could do about it. It puts him asleep for about 1 or more hours after he eats. They say it is to many carbs. but it doesnt matter what he eats. So he has to eat one meal a day and gets very hungry during the day too. What can i do for this. Thanks for helping.

Yes (for a variety or reasons), carbohydrates can most certainly cause lethargy, lack of energy, fatigue or chronic fatigue if you are carbohydrate sensitive in any way. Not everyone who is carbohydrate sensitive suffers from fatigue, but most do (and not all cases of fatigue are caused by carbohydrate sensitive).

Junk foods do ... they're just empty calories and you feel worse after eating them because they make you feel more tired from digesting all that food with nothing to show for it.
