Both pray for the same God the Creator and asking for His support and help and forgiveness.
For the same reasons all other faiths do - to pray and rest.
They follow the same god all Muslims do and he is Allah
In the UK Muslims don't always pray at the same time.it depends on the positioning of the sun. Muslims have to pray five times a day at different time. thnks hazz
Pray.
They pray the same way they pray at home, office, open air areas, or anywhere else.
That is what the Prophet Muhammad taught, as was shown to him by the angel Gabriel. There are slight differences among Muslims in the way they pray, but they are basically the same.
If some Catholics choose to pray in the nude within the privacy of their own home, God hears their prayers the same as if they were fully clothed. Rest assured that Catholics attend Mass in their clothing, however.
The same God worshipped by Jews, Muslims, and all other areas of Christianity
A sajjadah is a small, often portable, rug that Muslims use for prayer. "Sajjadah" is an Arabic word. Other languages have different words for the same rug. For example, in Urdu it is called a Janamaz. Muslims don't HAVE to pray on a sajjadah. They can pray on any clean surface, like a clean floor, grass, carpet, etc. Nevertheless, many Muslims like to pray on Sajjadahs because it ensures that the surface they are praying on is clean.
They can, and in many mosques, they do. But in other mosques, there is a wall or a barrier separating them.To my understanding, it is Sunnah for them to pray in the same room ("Sunnah" means that is what the Prophet Muhammad did).when we pray we bend down and guys are likely to lose their focus and stared at our butt. its for protectin. nothing more.
Pope Benedict XVI said that Catholics and Muslims worship the same God. This is in keeping with Vatican II, and with the sacred writings of both religions. They both begin with Abraham following the instructions of his God. Please see the Related Link below.
Saints are believed to be divinely connected with God, like a direct line. So we pray to them to ask them to ask God to help us, or pray to God for us, we believe God can do some miracles, through the saints. For a Catholic, the Saints are very much alive and in heaven, and just as you would ask a friend to pray for you, you can ask the saints to pray for you as well. Catholics use the word "pray" in the traditional sense of the word, whereas most protestants use "pray" to be the same thing as worship. Catholics do NOT worship saints.
