This is natural, and should be accepted until she has the kittens and they have been weaned/taken away from her mother. This temper will continue after she has the kittens, while they are young.
If you have dogs or other cats, it would be best to keep them away from her, if at all possible. She will likely try to find a small, secluded area in which to make a den for her babies. This area, and the whole room around it, she will be even more protective of.
