Some do This is true. I just tested a tiny chunk of a banana on my 2 omnivorous cats, one of whom had been grabbing at it while I peeled it. Result: The grabber ate it but his sister took a few sniffs and lost interest. Still, it only shows that banana is no yuckier than many other unfeline "foods" I've caught him trying--V8, pickles, cardboard etc. I think the banana would have gotten a more enthusiastic response if it had any special kitty appeal.
Yes, cats can eat a little banana and it won't hurt them, about a one half inch slice at a time to start. My cat loves it.
Yes, cats seem to smell more like bananas. To test this yourself, go to your cat and go REAL close to it and have a whiff of it, if it does smell like a fruit (preferablly bananas) its a pure bred cat!
Go ask your cat
Both are right but the meanings are different. 'He does not like bananas or apples' asserts two things: 'He does not like bananas'; 'He does not like apples.' He does not like bananas and apples means that he does not like bananas and apples together (eaten at the same time).
