Kittens and cats should not eat rice as part of their daily diet. Cats are carnivores, so get all their nutrients from meat, and meat only. Rice has no nutrient value to a cat, much less a kitten. Rice will just fill it up, but offer no goodness. Many cats have difficult digesting rice and other carbohydrate-heavy foods.

∙ 14y agoNo. Cats, and kittens should only consume food made for cats. Human food is not wise. Also, most cats are lactose intolerant, so milk associated with cereal should NOT be fed to cats, and kittens.

∙ 13y agoSome cats do, they put it in their food as a filler for the most part but I knew one cat who loved rice w/a chicken broth for a treat. My cats all have different pallets so they all get different food cause I love them and it means the world to me that they are happy and spoiled.
