yes, all barbs shoud be placed in about 5 or more, because they school. They may not school close together at times, but they still school in the tank. Always keep in atleast a group of 5 or more.
Cherry Barb fish I believe reside in either Africa or South America, somewhere with a warm and moist tropical climate.
you could have guppies angel fish neon tetras platties blue rams tiger barbs and and and mollies otto cats cherry barb
8-10 years
The question shoud be 'Can a tiger barb live with a slider.' Fish are one of the main diet items of turtles so the barb will eventually become a meal for the turtle. If the turtle is small, he may not be able to eat the fish but he will nip at it and remove fins. Sooner or later the fish disappears.
Under normal circumstances, it is best not to mix goldfish with other fish. They excrete higher amounts of ammonia, and it is harsh on the other fish in the tank.
yes barb fisk can live with molly fish they both live in brackish water, they can live with fiddler crabs too!! :)
Mine lives with Painted Turtles and a big Barb and it seems to live just fine
The turtle will likely eat the rosy barbs if they are small enough.
Cherry barbs are omnivores which means they will eat very small live animals such as water fleas, blood worms and plant-based foods. If you mean when kept in an aquarium they will eat algae, nibble on live aquatic plants, eat good quality flake for tropical fish and also frozen and live foods. They are not fussy eaters.
No fish I know of can live in Aquarium salt. All fish need water to live in. If you are asking if a tiger barb (Barbus tetrazona) can live if it was placed in a marine (salt water) situation, then the answer is "No. Not for more than the few minutes it would take for it to die.
