reptiles blood is not really cold, it just means that when reptiles are in the shade they cool down and when they go into the sun they can warm up. the difference between the warm blooded is that warm blooded does not cool and heat as much as the cold blooded. reptiles need it so they can withstand the temperature.

Reptiles are indeed "cold blooded" animals. This means that they are unable to self regulate their body temperature. If they get too cold, they get sluggish and slow and have to lay out in the sun to increase their body temperature. If they get hot, they have to hide in the shade or burrow in the sand to get out of the sun to prevent over heating.

Humans are "warm blooded" we can do things like shiver when we are cold to increase our body temperature or sweat when we are hot to lower our body temperature.

Warm-blooded animals (including humans) regulate their body temperature to stay around a certain temperature. In contrast, cold-blooded animals take on the temperature of their surroundings.

Warm-blooded animals regulate their temperature by either losing OR gaining heat. There are certain mechanisms by which this can be done. For example, sweating helps rid extra heat made by muscles when exercising AND shivering helps produce heat when cold. If these mechanisms of regulating body temperature are overloaded and they cannot keep up with demand, then they freeze in cold or have a heat stroke in heat.

Are rabbit cold blooded?

Rabbits are mammals, which makes them warm blooded. If you want to be more specific, they are endothermic homeotherms, which means they maintain a constant internal temperature. Also, not all creatures born live are warmblooded, like a previous answer suggested. There are some snakes that give live birth and they are still cold blooded. The two mammals that are not born live are the platypus and echidna. They hatch from eggs, but are still warm blooded.

Are donkeys warm or cold blooded?

Donkey's are warm blooded. Cold blooded are animals like reptiles. Warm blooded are mammals. Think of it as Warm blooded animals give 'live' birth while cold blooded animals lay eggs (This excludes platypuses though- they're mammals but lay eggs. Why? I don't know)
