Very competitive colleges will look back as far to your junior high school record. If your school district counted the 6th grade as a part of junior high (as opposed to the last grade of elementary school), then it is possible that your 6th grade grades may be taken into consideration. However, most colleges do not have the time to dig that far back for each applicant, and will only use such grades in rare cases of consideration.
They aren't really interested in your grades when it comes to middle school. However, they do look at the important things. For example; awards, achievements, sports participated in and also things you may have gotten in trouble for.
No... colleges only look at your high school grades, sat score, act score, community service, etc...
I don't believe so, but I could be wrong. I think they only look at your high school grades to determine eligibility for scholarships.
No, universities focus on your high school grades.
if a
no, colleges only look at your high school transcripts.
No, they look at your high school grades, sometimes your late middle school ones.
Yes, they basically look at everything. So you better have good grades !
Generally, the only grades that show up on your high school transcript are those for the semester. Quarterly grades are however helpful progress reports for the students.
Yes! Your freshman year grades are a part of your overall GPA (grade point average), which is a major factor in admission to any college. If your freshman year grades are poor, sorry to say that Harvard is unlikely to accept you since the are so competitive. However, there are many fine universities that may even grant you an academic scholarship if you are able to substantially improve your grades during your sophomore, junior and senior years. The way most colleges look at it: they'd rather take a student who started with low grades and improves over his/her high school career than take a student who had high freshman grades but poor grades in senior year.
It depends on the school, and the student. Colleges don't just look at GPA, though. So don't just focus on grades.
You need a very strong academic grounding as very good high school grades are what many art colleges/schools look out for when deciding the criteria which is used on pupils.
Well, you have to do really well in school. you have to have at least A's and B's on your report cards. if you are enrolling to a charter school here is what they will look at: 1. they will look at your grades and your behavior in school. 2. they will look at your test grades. 3. they will look at what school you go to
Your grades in high school will not affect your admittance to law school. They will look at your college grades.
I'd say go to ware your friends are when your in middle school it's important to have fun & have grades like C's don't try hard in school do that when your in highschool & when you go to a highschool do switch schools if you've been their for 2 years colleges look a lot on what your teachers say about you
Look just keep your grades up, don't make people mad, be nice. Nuff said.
It's an incentive to learn. Wouldn't you do better if you were paid to get in "A" ? Not only does it look good for the school, but colleges, ect. The only catch is getting used to the cash flow, and becoming spoiled from it.
