A book is made of paper and glue and ink and other things. Computers are made of metal, wires, chips and other complicated things. I think it would probably be easier to make a book than to make a computer unless you are a robot or some kind of genius.
If I had this information I'd be writing my ~200 volume history of computers right now to make money, instead of typing answers here for free! Honestly it would take about that many books to cover the ones made from 1940 to 2011 and the number of computers made each year grows faster and faster,

Technicly no. Unless somebody writes a piece of code to make computers take over the world. Computers will be smart enough to run completely by themselfs without any human what so ever, but i doubt that computers will start to kill humans. because when they do that they will figure out that there is no point in further existence and will shut down
Probably because - in a modern world, we expect things to be done quickly. Slow computers that take ages to process data make people frustrated.
