They can if when putting them in, you get lint on the contact lens. If you do get lint on them, just relax, take them out, put them back into the solution, and try again. After wearing them for a long time, your eyes can get dry and sore. But for me, my contacts don't cause me that much pain. It's different for everyone.

I have had contacts for 4 years and when they are in your eyes you forget they are there. There are some times when you have something in your contact and it may hurt your eye at times. all you have to do is take your contact out rinse it with solution put it back in and you will be good as new

no, u may use a solution that is sensitive to your eye. try another brand. that, or if u use soap before you put them in, there might be leftover soap on ur hand.
