Most trained dogs will remember condition for weeks or months, even if they are removed from the conditioning environment. Deeply embedded memories (owner) might last far longer.

∙ 12y agoSince they can not speak to us it's hard to say for certain but dogs do seem to remember other dogs that they have met in the past. Since their sense of smell is their strongest sense they will remember other dogs by their smell.
