Depends on species.some fish, like bass, prefer warmer water, while trout, for example are a cold water fish.Smallmouth bass like temps somewhere in between that of a largemouth and a trout.Water temperature is very important to the survival of fish,as it signals to them, feeding patterns, and spawning cycles.
fishes do live more in cold water because that is were they could find more food and the water is sometimes warm because the sun is mostly shining on the water so it gets warm but not really in the coral reef because the rays of the sun do not go all the way in coral reef
It depends on the fish. tropical fish need warm water, goldfish and koi like colder temperatures. You have to know what kind of fish it is to really answer this one. Ask the people you buy the fish from what temp it needs.
more fish live in the sea water because how much sea water there is
Whether or not a tropical fish can survive in cloudy water depends on why the water is cloudy. If there has been a spike in ammonia or nitrates, it can be deadly to fish. Tropical species tend to be more sensitive to severe water changes than freshwater fish.
warm blooded animals usually have more flesh, and live on land. cold blooded animals are things like fish etc. that live in water
Cold water fish will store more fatty tissue by size than warm water fish do. They pack on the added fat for lots of reasons like spawning, travelling or for protection from cold water temperatures. Warm water fish tend to move around a lot more and will also probably eat less by their size although warm water fish do get much larger overall.
Fish survive better in cold water then in warm water because :- 1) Cold water has more oxygen and more oxygen means more microscopic life which means more food. 2) In Cold water there is more solubility of the carbon dioxide released by the fish
the fish opens its mouth less as the water gets colder.
Fish, just like most other creatures on this planet, tend to live in habitats that are best suited for them. While this is most often true, there are some exceptions to the rule.
To list all the cold freshwater fish here would be impossible there are thousands of species. It is impossible to name them all but some are koi, goldfish, saimese, arctic ice fish, bass so on but there are much more
Dolphins live in both warm and cold water. They are found more often in warm water, but have blubber which insulates them for cooler water.
There are many freshwater tropical fish. In fact most of the tropical fish kept by aquarists are freshwater and they can not survive in either cold water or marine (salt) water. In most cases the marine species are much more difficult to keep and much more expensive to set up for.
As seawalter gets colder it becomes more dense, so cold sea water is more dense than warmer water.
