Some do; they do this because they don't want you be concerned with the ex bf even if they still like them, they want to keep you hanging on so that they aren't alone. So sad. It doesn't matter why she lies, just that you know that she lies. It should be a clue for you that a relationship with the girl would probably end unpleasantly.
