∙ 13y agoNo. Butterflies, those that feed at all, feed on nectar they get from flowers. They have in front a long proboscis (curled up when not in use) which they use to suck nectar.
A grasshopper is covered in a hard chitin (roughly similar to your fingernail) and there is no way butterfly would be able to pierce this.
