At night yes, but in the day no because the sunlight overpowers the headlights and high beam lights.

Can you move the headlights into the front bumper to be legal to drive a lifted truck?

There should be no reason why you couldn't mount them there. Most states/provinces have a maximum height for headlights(simply for safety reasons-as to not blind the oncoming motorists) You will have to consider the adjustability factor like the OEM versions have and perhaps moisture, as most headlights sit in a protected bucket structure.

What are low beam lights?

Low beams are the headlights when they are dipped. Used to light up the road just in front of you and biased towards the kerb nearest you. They also allow you to be seen clearly, but without blinding oncoming vehicles or those in front of you. When there is no other traffic to blind, the headlights should be switched to main beam, to give you the best view ahead and early warning of dangers. A blue light on the dashboard warns you when your headlights are on Main beam and blinding. If you have your headlights switched on and there is NO blue light, then your headlights are on Low beam.

What does stereo illumination on a stereo mean?

Illumination is the ability to lighten the screen or darken the screen with the other dash lights on the vehicle. normally you will have two orange wires coming from the cars wiring harness one with a white stripe one without. The orange/white wire will make the stereo dim or brighten with the dash lights. the solid orange wire will dim/brighten the stereo with the headlights. so if it is night you will have the headlights on, when you turn the headlights on the stereo dims so the light from the stereo will not blind you at night. while the headlights are off the stereo will be bright so the stereo light will be visible in the daytime

How can a blind person use their ears to see?

Blind people can "see" with their ears by relying on them to fill in the gaps caused by their lack of visual perception. For instance, while a blind person cannot see an oncoming car, they can hear it, allowing them to move away from the sound as to avoid getting hit. Blind people cannot literally see with their ears, no one can.

What causes the lights to go on and off when you use the high beams on a 1988 Lincoln Town Car?

if you have auto dimming headlights, the highbeams dim to low beams due to an electric eye thingy that is mounted on the lower end of the rear view mirror. it detects a car with headlights coming or light reflected from a sign, and dims the lights so you dont blind the oncoming vehicle. i loved the feature and wish they still had it. it was most usefull on rural drives. if ya want tobypass it, cover the electric eye with black tape.

Why are blind spot mirrors placed on sides of the road?

Blind spot mirrors on the side of the road are placed to help drivers to see what is around the corner. Most commonly they are used at junctions where the driver does not have a good line of sight to the road they are joining.
