Most of the time, yes. But if you chose a dog that has a history of Dog Fights, they might be a little cranky around food or something like that. But,that doesnt mean you shouldn't adopt a dog with that kind of history. If it isn't very bad,you might be able to train it to be nice.If you decide on a dog with a "fighting" history and you have small/young children,I would make sure that it is clear with them that you should not touch the dog or the food bowl if they have anger issues until they are completely finished with it,because that could lead to biting. Also, as a grown dog,the huskie can get very big.Make sure you have the time to walk it at least once or twice a day.Aspecialy with dogs that have way too much energey. It could calm them down.Hope this helps!
Huskies do not eat children or plants. Or the children of plants.

Alaskan huskies are not an actual breed but consist of a mix of Siberian huskies, Wolves and/or usually gun dogs like the labrador to improve sled pulling. If you are interested in Huskies check out the Alaskan Malamute.
Siberian huskies are very social animals. They are the closest dog relative of the gray wolf. Huskies like to have other huskies or dogs to be with them for company and protection. They form a very strong bond and act together like a pack. If they ate each other then there wouldn't be that many huskies left on the planet would there? They need each other just like we need our family for help and comfort.
