The state of Alabama does not require a title for a 1990 pop up camper. A title for a pop up camper that is more than 20 model years old does not need a title. If it is newer than a title is required.
We have a 2002 Rockwood pop-up camper which we bought used and are in the process of selling it. Should we have received a title when we purchased it in 2003?
Yes it is a trailer and a camper
Strip it down, sell the frame as a trailer.
That would depend on if someone is offering a replacement pop-up canopy for your Winnebago camper. A very good place to check for this would be eBay.
Camping or pop-up trailers A title and registration is not required for collapsible camping trailers at or less than 3,000 pounds gross weight unless they are used for hire or rental. Title and registration is encouraged for vehicles that will be used on roads outside the state of Wisconsin, as other states' registration laws may be different.
3770lbs
The tongue weight of a 1999 Coleman Santa Fe pop up camper is 183 lbs - "hitch" weight, the specs call it.
The bed on a pop up camper can be fixed several ways but it depends on what is wrong with it. If it is just a matter of what sheets to use, the typical size is Queen and it is made by covering the cushion with the sheets. If the bed is in need of reinforcement a new bed tray can be made with plywood.
When you go on a vacation with pop up campers, you need to pack everything in a separate area. Some of your smaller items can fit in the camper until you get to the campsite, but most of your items will need to be left in your car or truck. You will probably have to use a large truck or SUV to tow the camper. Make sure you have the camper secured to the vehicle so that it does not come unhitched while you are driving. You can leave the camper attached to the vehicle after you reach the site, or you can unhitch it and leave it on the front tires and supports.

Putting up a pop-up camper is simple and easy. First a person need to unhook the roof locks and then lower the towing arm jacks until it reaches the ground. Next a person needs to actually raise the pop-up roof, either with a hand crank or by using the motor included on the pop-up. A person then needs to drop the leveling jacks and level the pop-up.
