Yes, I believe that Chewing Gum help children learn better. Being a student myself I know that having something to fidget with really helps me pay attention better in class. The Los Angeles Times says that chewing gum takes away stress, improves alertness and boosts academic performances, I can definitely relate!

No. Besides presenting a choking hazard, it provides no nutritional value aside from sugar and a few other chemicals which may be harmful to a baby.
