In most cases I would say the woman wants security more than the man. Some men are very receptive to marriage and even having children, while other men have got to be roped and thrown down for the count. It entirely depends on the man's feelings within himself. Some men prefer to wander from woman to woman, some don't want to make a commitment to marriage and would rather live with a woman, but all in all I feel the majority of men do want to settle down, but it's just a matter of meeting the right woman.
It depends on the man. Some want both, and there's nothing wrong with that.

It honestly depends, with each man it varies. Some men seek women with or without any emotional investment. I don't think you can get the answer you want unless you ask the man himself. There are men out there who feel this same way towards women.
