Do military police get take home cars if they do not live on base and do they get gas cards or some other way of getting gas for the patrol cars without using personal pay?

It probably depends on the job and whether you begin and end your shift on the base. For work purposes, there are likely to be particular places that are contracted for you to get your gas. Most government vehicles have GPS service attached, so people are expected to make the required stops, without spending hours at home, restaurants or shopping areas. Many citizens do call in when they notice work vehicles in these places.
