Male cats are neutered. Female cats are spayed.
improved answer:
Being Neutered and spayed is the same thing, but for the different genders of the cat. If your cat is neutered, he can't be spayed, since, technically, he already has been. Just remember that these two words are the same thing, but neutered is for males and spaying is for females. Hope it helped!
Male cats spray as they are more territorial than uneutured male cats. Also I think it may have something to do with attracting a mate. However, some neutered males will still spray if neutered later in life, mainly because it is now "habit". You might need to teach the cat that spraying is not acceptable.
Because unless you are a responsible breeder and do not over breed dogs you should neuter your dogs. Un-neutered dogs make unwanted babies, that you will have to give the proper care - adding to the population of stray cats and dogs.
technically they still can. however, after he has been neutered his desire or urge to spray goes way down. Typically neutering will help to stop the spraying. However, a cat that has been neutered before reaching sexual maturity (around six months old), it is very unlikely the cat will ever start spraying.
This is easy. You need to look for its testicles. If it has them it is not neutered. If it does not it is neutered.
Male cats yowl to female cats and urinate when they are in "heat." You say he's neutered (fixed)? Well, he shouldn't be in heat AT ALL if he is neutered.
I think you mean Neutered? :P Well cat's get Neutered because the owner does not wish for the cat to get other female cats pregnant. Neutering is for Male cats and Spaying is for Female Cats. If you would like to breed cats, then don't get them neutered/spayed! If you do not get your cat neutered, it doesn't mean that it's going to get female cats pregnant, you'll just have to keep a close eye on them. I have noticed that when a cat is in heat, it gets rather annoying! But that's just me! :)
nope they don't i don't think so.....
If males are kept away, no. Cats really need to be spayed and neutered.
Have you checked if they are already de-sexed? Neutered and spayed cats cannot breed. Also, an intact female will not be interested in a male until she is in heat. That being said, unless you are an experienced breeder, you should not be breeding your cats; there are many risks to breeding, with the worst losing both the mother and kittens. Cats do not need a litter, and by neutering and spaying them, you reduce the risk of illnesses and infections that can develop in an intact cat.
Not all the dogs and cats that are adopted from a shelter are always neutered.

surgeryAnswer:No. Spaying removes the female's reproductive organs, and isn't a reversible procedure.

yes
Neutered is the term used in reference to males whereas spaying is often reserved for females. Both are methods of sterilizing an animal.
A neutered cat is male so he cannot have kittens. If he's neutered, he cannot father kittens either.
