The total energy in a hurricane is considerably more than that released by even the largest nuclear bombs. However, the energy of a bomb blast is much more concentrated.
Nuclear bombs release energy from the nucleus of the atom, which is held together by the Strong Force. Conventional bombs release energy from the electron cloud of the atom, which is held to the nucleus by the Electromagnetic Force. The Strong Force is thousands of times stronger than the Electromagnetic Force and thus releases thousands of times as much energy.
Atomic bombs use nuclear fission to cause near perpetual chains of reactions. Nuclear warheads (Nukes) just sums up all the different types, including hydrogen bombs (which use nuclear fusion, a much more potent type of power) and atomic bombs. So yes, they are the same.
I believe that it is the fission (not fusion) of particles. Essentially it is like nuclear bombs going off but with much more energy.
None
nuclear waste contains about 90 % of nuclear fuel but it is much harmful then nuclear itself.
One, if it had enough yield.
Nuclear bombs are so powerful, and release so much radioactive fallout, that any large-scale use of nuclear bombs would kill everbody and make the world uninhabitable.
One use is in nuclear power plants to produce steam and turn turbines to generate electricity.Nuclear bombs ^.^
A nuclear bomb has never been dropped. It was an atomic bomb that was dropped on the Japanese cities Hiroshima ans Nagasaki. An atomic bomb is a nuclear weapon. Nuclear bombs have much more impact than atomic bombs, and could potentially end the World if a nuclear war was started.
This question could be easily misconstrued. While atomic and nuclear explosion mean the same thing, and all atomic bombs are nuclear bombs, not all nuclear bombs are atomic bombs. The more powerful nuclear bombs are hydrogen bombs, and there is a very important fundamental difference between the two. ============================================================== A bomb is fission - the splitting of an atom H bomb is fusion - the joining together of atoms (and much more powerfull)
It is much more cleaner and lasts a lot longer than fossil fuels. The only problem is where to put the nuclear waste.
