∙ 12y agoThe eight armed, slow moving, molluscs called the octopuse likes to eat very nice dinners such as crabs, shrimp, snails, and lobsters. They can camouflage themselves so their prey don't see them when the octopuses go out hunting during the afternoon and night time hours.

They catch prey with their arms, then kill it by biting it with their tough beak, paralyzing the prey with a nerve poison, and softening the flesh. They then suck out the flesh. Octopuses hunt mostly at night. Only the Australian Blue-ringed octopus has a poison strong enough to kill a person.
