Yes. Genetically modified foods have been on supermarket shelves for several years.
Small modifications have been made to increase the size and general appearance of fruits and vegetables. Sometimes, they are engineered to ripen slowly so that they may be transported long distances without rotting on the way.
Vegetable crops are engineered to be pest resistant so that they do not get attacked by worms and other pests when they are grown on farms.
There has not been a single reported case where a human being or any other farm animal has fallen sick as a result of consuming a genetically modified food.

Not in the United states, but in some other countries it is.
One risk of genetically engineered food is that foods produced from crops that have been engineered to produce a substance that kills insects could have negative health effects on people. Though some believe that is not a possibility, others believe is it not only possible, but probable.
Three foods that have been genetically engineered are corn, soy, and canola. It is possible that some fruits and vegetables have been genetically engineered using a slightly different method than ones we hear about.
Two examples of genetically engineered foods are: Herbicide resistant varieties that can have a herbicide sprayed on it and not die. Bt varietes that produce an insecticide in the plant itself.
Any food can be genetically modified through genetic engineering. Three foods that have been genetically engineered are corn, soy, and canola.
Some food staples, such as rice, contain more nutrients.
in some ways yes but not if your used to eating normal everyday food in life
Freeze-drying blueberries to extend their shelf life
By providing food crops that have greater yield and can exist in a range of conditions. or By creating a food supply for all people
Organic is a method of growing food without using synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Food grown organically is called organic food. Non-organic is a method of growing food that uses synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Food grown this way is called non-organic. Genetic engineering is taking a gene from one organism and forcing it into another, unrelated organism in a lab. Seeds that are genetically engineered can be grown non-organically, but not organically. Foods that are genetically engineered are called GMO foods.
I do not know of any studies on this, but I'm sure we will eventually find out. It may take some time.
